Abazović meets students of College of Europe
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović delivered a lecture to students of the College of Europe in Natolin, who are paying a study visit to Montenegro.
Montenegro is the best candidate to be the first next EU member and give impetus to the revival of the enlargement policy, Prime Minister Abazović pointed out, adding that among all political parties there is a consensus on Montenegro's EU membership and strong euro-optimism with the belief that this is one of the most important topics for our future.
In a discussion with students from numerous European countries, Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that Montenegro successfully managed the energy crisis, adding that Montenegrin Electric Enterprise (EPCG) has not increased electricity prices, which is the most important for citizens and the economy.
In addition to tourism, strong growth is marked by energy too. The goal is to export more electricity, the Prime Minister stressed.
During the discussion, they discussed the role of national minorities in building intercultural, civic and European Montenegro, the European future of the Balkans and the importance of reconciliation of the region in this process, the position of religious organisations and the equality of their rights, as well as the parliamentary elections in Montenegro.
