Abazović: We feel positive energy towards Montenegro in Brussels
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Policy, European Integration and Regional Cooperation and Minister for European Affairs Jovana Marović met with Co-Chair of the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) Vladimír Bilčík in Brussels.
Head of Mission of Montenegro to the European Union, Ambassador Petar Marković, Chief of the Office of the Prime Minister Ana Rašović, and Prime Minister's Adviser Đorđe Radulović were also present at the meeting.
Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that positive energy towards Montenegro is being felt in Brussels.
We are convinced that the tangible results in the rule of law that we will achieve in Montenegro will result in rapid progress on our integration path, said PM Abazović.
The Prime Minister stated that, in cooperation with the Parliament, he wants to open a political dialogue, emphasising the importance of unity and broad consensus on the most important topics, noting that the same applies to the region and regional cooperation.
SAPC Co-Chair Vladimír Bilčík pointed out that the European Parliament wants a lot of positive news from the region, and that the pro-European Government in Montenegro is an example of such positive news.
Later today, Prime Minister Abazović will address MEPs, members of the Delegation to the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee.
