Ambassador Radović's farewell visit to the Head of Bulgarian Diplomacy Teodora Genchovska

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Teodora Genchoivska welcomed Ambassador of Montenegro in that country Snežana Radović in her farewell visit.

Ambassador Radović congratulated Genchovksa on behalf of herself and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Đorđe Radulović, on her appointment as the Head of Bulgarian Diplomacy and expressed gratitude for the support which arrived from all official addresses in that country. She confirmed the dedication of our country to the realization of goals stemming form the European agenda and explained that Montenegro does not have an alternative to the EU membership, which all political actors in the country agree upon. Also, Radović pointed out the importance of respect of the regatta principle in assessing the progress of the countries of the region and requested further support of Bulgaria on this topic.

Minister Genchovska accented the excellent relations which Montenegro and Bulgaria cherish along with the wish that they continue in the future period. Minister pointed out that Montenegro’s membership in NATO, as well as accession talks with the EU, are of great importance to Bulgaria. On that line, she reiterated that her country will continue to strongly support Montenegro on the European path, as well as the principle of valuing progress according to merit.

Ambassador Radović thanked for cooperation and hospitality which was always present during her four year term.
