American Jewish Committee hosts Abazović as special guest

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović had the honor of being hosted at the headquarters of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), led by Michael Tichnor. During this visit, he engaged with representatives from various states, discussing current political and social circumstances, as well as the opportunities within Montenegro.

Montenegro has traditionally maintained a strong and friendly relationship with the Jewish community. Regardless of our population size, it is the values we uphold that distinguish us as a nation, such as multiculturalism and good neighborly relations, where Montenegro stands as a regional exemplar, emphasised Prime Minister Abazović during the discussions.

When addressing Montenegro's relationship with Israel, Prime Minister Abazović underscored that Israel holds significant importance as a tourist destination for the country. He noted that this year alone, approximately 600 flight operations will take place between Montenegro and Israel. Furthermore, the Prime Minister highlighted the vital role that foreign direct investments from Israel play in Montenegro, indicating that recent investments signify a fresh start in our relations.

Regarding relations with the United States, Abazović emphasized that the United States is Montenegro's most significant foreign policy partner, with our foreign policy being in complete alignment with that of the United States and the European Union.

Prime Minister Abazović invited the organization to consider holding one of its global forums in Montenegro in the future.
