Cikotić to Abazović: Your move is brave and beneficial in the long term
The decision to adopt the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica is a sign of new winds in the region and represents a brave and beneficial move in the long term, said Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotić after the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović.
DPM Abazović pointed out that the adoption of the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica was a moral and civilizational decision.
Minister of Security Cikotić stated that the relations between BiH and Montenegro are a paradigm of relations as they should be in the future between all countries of the Western Balkans. He pointed out that Montenegro's membership in NATO is an important element of regional stability, very important for BiH as well.
DPM Abazović emphasised that Montenegro supports the integrity of BiH and its path towards European integration, offering the assistance in that process.
Furthermore, the two officials discussed the results of the fight against criminal groups in Montenegro and the region, as well as projects that will lead to better infrastructural connections between the two countries and reduce congestion at border crossings during the summer tourist season.
