Czech Ambassador Karel Urban pays farewell visit to PM Krivokapić
Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Montenegro Karel Urban paid a farewell visit to Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić.
Prime Minister Krivokapić thanked Ambassador Urban for his committed diplomatic engagement, which he showed during his four-year mandate, as the first Czech Ambassador on a resident basis in Montenegro. The Prime Minister said that the Czech Republic has further strengthened and deepened friendly cooperation between the two countries with its unequivocal support for Montenegro's European path.
Emphasising that Montenegro is in the process of strengthening institutions, Prime Minister Krivokapić said that this is a procedure that requires time, but is inevitable and unstoppable.
Ambassador Urban, expressing regret that he is leaving Montenegro, thanked for the hospitality. Furthermore, he said that one of the priorities of the Czech Republic is the policy of enlargement of the European Union, and that in the upcoming presidency they will do everything to speed up the accession process of the candidate countries.
Praising Montenegro's achievements on its European path, Ambassador Urban expressed the expectation that other Western Balkan countries will make additional efforts to formally make the entire region an integral part of the European Union.
