Ibrahimović received outgoing Ambassador of Australia Daniel Emery in farewell visit

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, received today, in a farewell visit, the Ambassador of Australia to Montenegro, on a non-resident basis, Daniel Emery.

The Minister thanked Ambassador Emery for his contribution to the development of relations between Montenegro and Australia during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors. It was noted that the two countries maintain friendly relations, and there is significant potential for strengthening political dialogue and cooperation on a bilateral level, particularly in the areas of economy, tourism, green economy, and environmental protection.

It was emphasized that, despite being geographically distant, the two countries share civilizational values and a commitment to multilateralism, freedom, and democracy. Special attention was given to the importance of the Montenegrin diaspora in Australia, which serves as a bridge between the two countries.
