Investment of over 15 million euros in reconstruction and construction of a new part of Mediteran Hotel

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met today with Isa Bećović, Executive Director of "Becovic Management Group" and the owner of the Mediteran Hotel in Ulcinj.

Mr. Bećović informed DPM Abazović about the planned investment in the reconstruction of the Mediteran Hotel and the construction of a new part of that hotel in Ulcinj, worth between 15 and 20 million euros. Bećović said that he was sorry that the mentioned investment had not been made so far due to certain problems. He also added that "Becovic Management Group" has the ambition for the Mediteran Hotel to reach 4+ standard.

All investors who want fair business in Montenegro are more than welcome. Our ambition is to build high-class hotels in Montenegro and thus improve the overall image of the destination. I am glad that I received guarantees from Mr. Bećović that in three years an investment worth more than 15 million euros will be made in Ulcinj, which could not be done before, said Deputy Prime Minister Abazović.

Abazović said that after certain problems that accompanied the investments in the previous period, the obstacles would be removed and that it was agreed to start the reconstruction and construction of the new part of the Mediteran Hotel after the the summer tourist season.
