Minister Radulović conveyed congratulations message to the Minister Selaković on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Đorđe Radulović conveyed congratulations message to his Serbian counterpart Nikola Selaković, on the occasion of Republic of Serbia’s Statehood Day, being celebrated on 15^th February.

Only through consistent political dialogue that is based upon principles of equality, mutual respect and comprehension, we can establish better bilateral cooperation for the best interests of our peoples – stated in the message. By prevailing its differences and by fostering good neighborly relations, two independent states can, as expressed, become the example of progress of our region and closer cooperation of Western Balkans’ states.

It is also stated that in the forthcoming period the additional focus should be put on the intensifying of cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, transport and culture. Minister Radulović also stressed that mutual European perspective, inter alia, is one of the key pillars that bring us together, thus Montenegro is prepared to contribute to further integration of our region in the European Union.

“I am convinced that soon we will have the opportunity to exchange our views in person on all subjects of mutual interest” – Radulović stated.
