Minister Radulović in Ohrid: Informal B6 initiative formed in order to accelerate the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU
Last night, Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic took part in a working dinner of foreign ministers and representatives of foreign ministries of the Western Balkans, at which the informal regional initiative B6 was formed under the motto "It is wise to have good relations with neighbors, and a real victory is to become their friend."
At the meeting, hosted by Northern Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, was set up an agreement to establish an informal framework for ministerial coordination, as well as a regular meeting at least once a semester, to make the best use of our region's potential to accelerate European integration.
Having in mind the emphasized political component of the new methodology, as well as the fact that the next EU-Western Balkans summit will be organized on October 6th within the Slovenian presidency of the EU Council, the foreign ministers agreed that in addition to the Berlin Process agenda, through open dialogue intensify mutual coordination in key areas of common interest.
The participants expressed their full readiness to strengthen regional cooperation and contribute to the acceleration of the European path of the Western Balkans.
