Minister Sekulović meets with EU Commissioners
Minister of the Interior and Coordinator of the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights Sergej Sekulović met with Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová.
The two officials exchanged opinions and experiences on the problem of hate speech. Minister Sekulović stated that the expert support of the European Commission in the fight against hate speech would be of exceptional importance for Montenegrin society.
Sekulović also met with European Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli, who expressed support to Montenegro and institutions in order to strengthen the legislative framework in the field of protection of basic human rights and freedoms.
Minister Sekulović and European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders noted that political dialogue and concrete results are necessary for the reform of the judiciary.
The officials expressed full support to Montenegro on its European path.
