Montenegro and the Russian Federation mark two important anniversaries in the history of diplomatic relations

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Montenegro and the Russian Federation, after the restoration of Montenegrin independence, and 310 years since the establishment of the first political contacts between Montenegro and Russia, in the spirit of good diplomatic practice, letters were exchanged between foreign ministers Djordje Radulovic and Segrej Lavrov.

Both sides expressed interest in the development of dialogue, based on mutual respect, as well as the belief that the time ahead will bring progress in strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest.

Also, on this festive occasion, the embassies of our countries in Moscow and Podgorica will organize a series of events and accompanying cultural activities, which will symbolically celebrate the jubilee in relations between Montenegro and the Russian Federation.
