Montenegro highly values Croatia's support on its European path
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović met today with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman, on the sidelines of the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg.
During their discussions, Ibrahimović emphasised that Montenegro and Croatia are friendly countries, neighbours, and NATO allies, highlighting Montenegro's deep appreciation for Croatia's support in its European integration process.
He stressed Montenegro's commitment to fostering and advancing relations with Croatia on these strong foundations, expressing a willingness and desire to discuss all matters concerning bilateral relations in a spirit of good neighbourliness and open, friendly dialogue.
Minister Grlić Radman underscored the importance of Montenegro remaining firmly committed to European and Euro-Atlantic values on its path toward EU membership, which remains Montenegro's foreign policy priority. Such commitment, he noted, will demonstrate Montenegro’s genuine determination to achieve EU membership in the near future.
The meeting also included discussions on other current regional and global issues.
