National Security Council holds its second session
The National Security Council, chaired by Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, held its second session today. The session comprehensively analyzed the current security situation, concluding that the security situation in the country is calm and stable.
Representatives of the intelligence and security sector informed the National Security Council about the security risk assessments for the announced public gatherings. The National Security Council has concluded that the bodies of the intelligence and security sector are intensifying activities within the scope of their work.
In the coming period, the National Security Council will intensively monitor risk assessments from the scope of work of the intelligence and security sector and, based on that, adopt guidelines and conclusions.
The Council urges everyone to contribute to calming tensions.
The session was attended by members of the Council, Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, Minister of the Interior Sergej Sekulović, Minister of Defence Olivera Injac, Director of the National Security Agency Dejan Vukšić and President of the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defence Milan Knežević.
