National Security Council holds its third session
The National Security Council, chaired by Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, held its third session today. The National Security Agency of Montenegro and the Police Directorate presented the latest security assessments to the members of the Council.
The National Security Council expresses concern over the security situation ahead of the announced public gatherings, and issued guidelines to the bodies of the intelligence and security sector of Montenegro to strengthen coordination in order to preserve the constitutional order and protect constitutional rights and freedoms.
The National Security Council urges all social and political actors, media representatives, as well as all citizens, to contribute to calming tensions and preserving peace and security. Council members will be in constant communication.
The session was attended by all members of the Council, as well as Director of the Police Directorate Zoran Brđanin.
