On the sidelines of the PRESPA Forum: Cooperation of the countries of the region as the main driver of progress towards European integration
On the sidelines of the international conference "PRESPA - Forum for Dialogue", which is being held under the title "Western Balkans: The Missing Part of the Puzzle for Completing Europe", Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic met today with top government officials who participated in the event.
Separate meetings with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schalenberg, BiH Prime Minister Zoran Tegeltija, Northern Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov were held in the line of strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Minister Radulović reiterated the commitment of the Government of Montenegro to further deepen cooperation with neighbors, especially in the direction of intensifying economic exchange, increasing the volume of investments and improving infrastructure connections.
To his interlocutors on the sidelines of the Forum, Minister Radulović said that cooperation and mutual support of the countries in the region, in addition to the reform processes, are the main drivers of progress towards European integration.
The interlocutors of the head of Montenegrin diplomacy confirmed the excellent relations with Montenegro, as well as the readiness for further deepening of ties through the improvement of economic cooperation and infrastructural investments. It was reiterated that for the countries of the region, EU membership has no alternative, and that it is necessary to connect and work together on that path.
