Opening ceremony of the first section of the Bar - Boljare motorway (Smokovac – Mateševo)

On the occasion of the Statehood Day of Montenegro, the Government of Montenegro will organise an opening ceremony of the first section of the Bar - Boljare motorway (Smokovac - Mateševo) on Wednesday (13 July).

The ceremony will be held at Pelev brijeg tollbooth, starting at 8:00 p.m.

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China Hua Yafang, and CEO of Monteput Milan Ljiljanić will speak at the ceremony.

The priority section of the motorway will officially be in use from 14 July at 8:00 a.m. and the toll will be free for the next seven days (until 21 July at 8:00 a.m.).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE MEDIA:

Media teams should arrive at the venue no later that 7:30 p.m.

Media wishing to cover the event should submit the name and surname and ID number of: journalist, photojournalist, camera operator and/or other team member (driver, sound technician, etc.) to the Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro at pr@gov.me)

All accredited media will be provided motorway access to the venue and parking. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the above-mentioned email address the vehicle model and vehicle registration number used by media team to arrive at the venue.

The above information should be submitted no later than Wednesday, 13 July at 12:00 p.m.

The Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photos and videos of the event.
