Organisation

Within the Police Directorate of Montenegro, the Border Police Department with its organizational units at the central, regional and local level performs activities related to border control and control of movement and residence of foreign nationals.

The concept of organization The Border Police Department is harmonized with the operational needs and practices in the EU member states.

Central level

The Border Police Department at the central (national) level, in accordance with the current Rulebook on Internal Organization and Systematization of the Police Directorate, is organized within the following organizational units:
