Participation of the Real Estate Administration at the regional conference "Seizure of property benefits obtained through criminal activity"

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, the director of the Real Estate Administration, Marko Bulatović MSc with his colleagues, attended the regional conference entitled "Seizure of property benefits obtained through criminal activity - application of national and international standards and court practice", which was organized by the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro and the AIRE Center, with the support of the British Embassy.

Milan Marković, Supreme State Prosecutor of Montenegro, Biljana Braithwaite, Director of the Program for the Western Balkans and Dawn McKen, British Ambassador to Montenegro spoke in the opening part of the conference. 

In continuation of the conference, two panels were held, the first "Financial investigations - standards and practice" and the second "Division of permanently confiscated property benefits", where representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Special State Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro, the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade and others spoke.

The conference was attended by over 70 participants from Montenegro and the region, which represents a very important segment of the exchange of knowledge and experience in this field, all with the aim of improving cooperation in the field of confiscation of illegally acquired property.
