PM Abazović and ministers visit floating dock in Bijela

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović, Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism Ana Novaković Đurović, and Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović visited today the floating dock for the superyacht overhaul in Bijela.

PM Abazović said that this is important day for Montenegro. We have one of the largest floating docks and a crane that lifts the largest yachts and smaller cruisers. We are ready to welcome ships and mega yachts for overhaul in Bijela, said the Prime Minister.

PM Abazović pointed out that by the end of September there will be 100 new jobs. The Prime Minister said that he was particularly pleased that almost all the employees are from Montenegro.

Thanks to the Government of Montenegro and the company Adriatic 42, the Bijela shipyard and Montenegro will once again be recognised as shipbuilding destination. It is important to point out that this is a project worth over 20 million euros and that it is planned to employ over 300 workers in the next five years, said Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović.

President of the Board of Directors of Adriatic 42 Rado Antolović thanked the Prime Minister and his team for recognising the importance of this project and for the enormous support provided throughout the process. He added that the dock is worth several million dollars. It is 180 meters long, 37 meters wide and has a capacity of 10,000 tons of cargo vessels.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Abazović and ministers visited the location of the future water terminal at the Tivat Airport. The Prime Minister said that large hotels and individual taxi service providers are interested to have their own berths.
