PM Abazović meets Captains Regent of San Marino

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met with Their Excellencies, Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino Oscar Mina and Paolo Rondelli, who are paying an official visit to Montenegro. Montenegro and San Marino, as two small, friendly countries, have many similarities and good bilateral relations based on mutual understanding and trust, the meeting noted.

The delegation also includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications Luca Beccari, Minister of Industry, Handicraft, Trade, Technological Research and Regulatory Simplification Fabio Righi, Ambassador of San Marino to Montenegro Chiara Cardogna.

Captain Regent Oscar Mina pointed out that the bilateral relations established by the two countries can further prosper in the future. Captain Regent Paolo Rondelli emphasised that the position of the two countries is an incentive for more stable and stronger relations and that the signing of the Memorandum on strengthening mutual cooperation would contribute to that.

The promotion of territorially small countries can give an added value to the EU compared to large countries, Prime Minister Abazović pointed out.

The officials agreed that the two countries have great opportunities for improving cooperation in the field of tourism, especially through staff training, exchange of experience, organising joint promotion on the world market, as well as stimulating investments in tourism and hotel industry.
