PM Dritan Abazović sends congratulatory message for Canada Day

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau on the occasion of 1 July - Canada Day.

Dear Prime Minister,

It is my pleasure to extend to you my congratulations on the occasion of 1 July - Canada Day, and my wishes for further development and prosperity of your friendly country and its citizens.

With its unwavering advocacy of democratic principles, Canada has an important role to play in overcoming the complex humanitarian and security crisis that Europe is facing today. In that sense, given our alliance within NATO and sharing the same system of Euro-Atlantic values, you can count on the constructive role of Montenegro as a responsible international partner.

I am particularly pleased that the relations between our countries are continuously improving and developing, with the need for additional enhancing of cooperation that would be accompanied by investments in Montenegro, especially in the priority areas of energy, transport and tourism. In that regard, I believe that the time is about to come when our interstate partnership will reach its zenith.
