PM Krivokapić extends condolences on passing of musician Dragoljub Đuričić
Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić sent a letter of condolence to the family and friends of Dragoljub Đurišić on the passing of the famous musician.
"It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of the musical giant and our most famous drummer Dragoljub Đuričić.
With his music, Đuričić marked the time in which he created, and his signature was behind the rhythm of countless festival, theater and even ballet beats. In cooperation with renowned musicians of the former Yugoslavia, he created music that marked the youth of many generations, and is equally loved and listened to today.
With the "Cucka jeka" project, he revived Kobilji Do, a village which, thanks to him, was discovered and loved by many foreigners, but also by numerous Montenegrin inhabitants, to whom this locality would have remained unknown if it had not been for Đuričić.
He left behind a rich musical opus by which his hometown Cetinje, Montenegro, but also the whole world will remember him. An opus that makes him immortal," the Prime Minister's letter reads.
