PM Krivokapić visits General Hospital in Nikšić

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić paid a visit to the General Hospital in Nikšić, where he met with Marko Mitrović, Director of this reputable health institution.

Prime Minister Krivokapić saw the limited working conditions, acknowledging professionalism and dedication of health workers, which were especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Noting that urgent and continuous investments in the health sector are necessary so that patients and professional hospital staff have better conditions, Krivokapić expressed special respect and gratitude to the doctors who decided to return to Montenegro at a demanding epidemiological moment and be part of its health system.

It is an invaluable damage for our society that our people do not use their creative energy and knowledge for the benefit of Montenegro, but that they have to earn their living and build professional reputation far from their homes, said Krivokapić.

Director of the hospital Marko Mitrović thanked Prime Minister Krivokapić for the words of gratitude for all essential workers.

Director Mitrović said that he hoped that the General Hospital Nikšić would be recognised as one of the most important institutions in the Montenegrin health system.
