Press release on Cabinet's decisions made on 19 and 22 February without holding session
At yesterday's session, the Montenegrin Cabinet adopted the minutes on the decisions made, based on Article 10 of the Decree on the Government of Montenegro, on 19 and 22 February 2021 without holding a session.
On 19 February, the Cabinet adopted a Decision on approving the payment of funds to the Limited Liability Company for the transport of passengers and goods in air transport "ToMontenegro". On that occasion, the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare was instructed to pay the amount of EUR 15,000,000.00 from the Current Budget Reserve to the current account of the Company, which increases the Company’s paid basic capital, amounting to EUR 19,000,000.00.
Consent was given for initiating the procedure for the sale of Mercedes-Maybach passenger motor vehicles, registration marks PG HM 542 and PG HM 826. On this occasion, the Cabinet adopted several conclusions instructing the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare to obtain a Vehicle Valuation Report, prepared by an authorized appraiser, and to, in accordance with the law, conduct the sale procedure through a public auction by publishing an international public invitation, where the estimated values will be the initial prices in the sale process. Furthermore, it was concluded that proceeds of sale represent the revenue of the Budget of Montenegro.
On 22 February, the Cabinet adopted a Decision on the appointment of Zoran Brđanin, the current Head of the Department for Analysis and Improvement of Police Work, as Acting Assistant Director of the Police Directorate - Head of the Police Sector of General Competence, until the appointment of Assistant Director - Head of this Sector in accordance with the law, for a maximum of six months.
Furthermore, consent was given that Zoran Brđanin, Acting Assistant Director of the Police Directorate - Head of the Police Sector of General Competence, performs the duties of Director of the Police Directorate, for a maximum period of six months.
The Cabinet made a decision on the Proposal for the appointment of Zoran Brđanin as Director of the Police Directorate, submitted by the Minister of the Interior and, in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 paragraph 3 of the Law on Internal Affairs, decided to submit the proposal to the Parliament of Montenegro for opinion.
The Cabinet adopted a Decision on appointing Vesko Damjanović as Acting Assistant Director of the Police Administration - Head of the Border Police Sector, until the appointment of Assistant Director - Head of this sector in accordance with the law, for a maximum of six months.
The Cabinet adopted a Decision on terminating the term of office of Nikola Janjušević, Assistant Director of the Police Directorate - Head of the Police Sector of General Competence, due to the expiry of his term of office.
The Cabinet adopted a Decision on providing temporary use of the facility used by the General Hospital "Danilo I" Cetinje to the Primary Health Care Centre Cetinje for the needs of vaccinating citizens against coronavirus.
