Radulović and Çavuşoğlu: Relations between Montenegro and Turkey are characterized by intensive political dialogue and constructive bilateral cooperation

“Diplomatic relations between Montenegro and Turkey are characterized by intensive political dialogue and constructive bilateral cooperation” as being appraised in today’s telephone talk between Minister Đorđe Radulović and his Turkish colleague Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

Head of Montenegrin diplomacy stressed the importance of establishing platforms that will contribute to the strengthening of economic and tourism cooperation between Montenegro and Turkey, while evaluating these areas as crucial in the time of economic recovery in the pandemic period.

Collocutors agreed that there is potential for additional improvement of interstate cooperation, thus that Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Turkey, with consular area in Antalya, will surely contribute to the realization of activities that will represent a positive step forward. Ministers also discussed about participation in regional initiatives, as well as candidacies for single positions in this bodies.

Head of Turkish diplomacy expressed the pleasure with announced participation of Minister Radulović on “Antalya Diplomatic Forum”, that represents opportunity for exchange of views and experiences in diplomacy sphere, politics and business. The importance of cultural ties of two countries had also been emphasized, for which improvement and promotion full potential is recognized.
