Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Antalya between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and the Republic of Turkey in the field of protocol affairs, which will contribute to more intensive cooperation in this area.

Minister Radulović expressed his belief that, bearing in mind that our commitment is to expand the capacity of economic diplomacy, tomorrow's opening of the Consulate in Antalya, headed by Honorary Consul Erkan Yilmaz, will contribute to dynamizing activities in attracting Turkish investments. In that line, the meeting focused on strengthening the cooperation between Montenegro and Turkey in areas of mutual interest, primarily in the economy and the tourism sector, which are crucial in the challenging time of economic recovery.

Minister Cavusoglu assessed that the bilateral meeting is another confirmation that Montenegro and Turkey are connected by good interstate relations, which are accompanied by intensive political dialogue and an enviable level of mutual understanding and cooperation. He stressed the importance of the NATO alliance, where the two countries co-operate within a framework important for global security.
