Secretary-General of the Government meets with EU Delegation and UNDP representatives

Secretary-General of the Government Dragoljub Nikolić held discussions with Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Montenegro Yngve Engstrom, UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro Ekaterina Paniklova, and Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration and support for the Reform Agenda in line with the requirements of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.

Nikolić emphasised the Government's intention to enhance capacities to provide strong support for crucial processes on the path towards EU accession and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

During the meeting, it was assessed that Montenegro is a country with which serious discussions are held on all issues related to integration, representing an example and a bright spot in the region.

Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Montenegro Yngve Engstrom highlighted that he was encouraged to see a strong commitment to the reform process and a comprehensive approach to reform processes in Montenegro.

UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro Ekaterina Paniklova emphasised the importance of collaboration and commended the networking of institutions led by the Secretariat-General of the Government.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Government Irena Vućić Popović also attended the meeting.
