Spajić congratulates Bosnia and Herzegovina on opening accession negotiations, important day for the region

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić extended congratulations on the decision of the European Council to open accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We congratulate Bosnia and Herzegovina and wish them success in the negotiation process. This is an important day for the region and for enlargement policy, and most importantly for the citizens of BiH. Montenegro strongly stands with all neighbours on the path to our common future in the European Union, the Prime Minister posted on X.

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto expressed gratitude for the congratulations. Krišto is expected to visit Montenegro during the next month.
