Spajić: Serbs are not a genocidal people

In a statement posted on X, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić emphasised that Serbs are not and cannot be considered a genocidal people. He stated that such a notion does not exist, asserting that no nation can be labeled as genocidal.

Prime Minister Spajić highlighted that the proposed amendments do not imply any condemnation of the Serbian people, Serbia, or Republika Srpska. He underscored the significant percentage of Serbs within Montenegro's population, emphasising the importance of acknowledging this fact.

Prime Minister Spajić concludes that only through our efforts and the results we achieve, such as our progress towards the European Union, do we demonstrate that it is worth fighting for Montenegro, for the Western Balkans, and for a better future for all people in this region.
