Spajić with the opposition: Achieve the broadest consensus regarding the implementation of the Census
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić met today with representatives of some of the opposition parliamentary parties: the Democratic Party of Socialists, the Social Democrats and the Bosniak Party, with whom he discussed the conditions for conducting the upcoming Population Census.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged and suggestions were made regarding the preparation and implementation of the process, and readiness to contribute in good faith to the implementation of the Census as one of the most important processes for laying out the overall social development was expressed.
The interlocutors expressed their readiness to reach the broadest consensus on this important issue.
The meeting was attended by MPs Danijel Živković and Nikola Janović on behalf of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Damir Šehović and Boris Mugoša on behalf of the Social Democrats, while the Bosniak Party was represented by Ervin Ibrahimović and Damir Gutić.
Earlier today, on this occasion, the Prime Minister also met with the representatives of the councils of less numerous nations and national communities in Montenegro, and he emphasized that the population census must be a process that is an expression of mutual trust, and that its results would be the basis for building a society that meets the needs of its citizens.
