Srzentić meets with US Government representatives
Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media Tamara Srzentić had a series of successful meetings in Washington with representatives of the United States Government in the field of information technologies and digitalization.
She met with US Deputy Federal Chief Information Officer Maria Roat, with whom she discussed their further cooperation in the field of policies and models for better technologies, cyber security, digital services, and improvement of IT infrastructure in Montenegro.
With Caitlin Gandhi and Dahianna Salazar Foreman, founders of the US Digital Corps, we have agreed partnership to bring the best technologists, digital experts and innovators from Montenegro and abroad to the Government through the Montenegro Digital Cooperation Programme, which will help solve digital challenges together with public servants, said Minister Srzentić.
Minister Srzentić also had the opportunity to meet with Deputy Administrator of the United States Digital Service (USDS) Edward Hartwig, which will help the team of the Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media to further strengthen digital capacities in Montenegro.
The Minister also met with a team of Larry Bafund and Greg Gershman, who founded the Ad Hoc technology company, which helps governments around the world best respond to the needs of citizens through the development of digital skills and service design. Greg once worked in the Barack Obama administration on the development of HealthCare.gov where he gained vast experience.
We will use their knowledge and expertise to gather the best technologists and digital experts from America in Montenegro and join forces with civil servants to solve digital challenges and deliver the best services for citizens. I am grateful for their partnership and support, Minister Srzentić emphasised.
