The 21st Cabinet session – 29 September 2022

The Montenegrin Cabinet held its 21st session today, chaired by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović.

The Cabinet adopted the Report on the Implementation of Montenegro Economic Reform Programme 2022-2024 (for the first six months of 2022). The Economic Reform Programme (ERP) is the main document prepared by the candidate and potential candidate countries on the annual basis that serves as a background of their macroeconomic dialogue with the European Union (EU). Montenegro has been participating in the preparation of the Economic Reform Program since 2015.

The Cabinet has once again confirmed its intention to terminate the Special investment programme of special importance for the business and economic interests of Montenegro, on the basis of which a person can acquire Montenegrin citizenship by admission, on 31 December 2022.
