We protect the rights of citizen Jovanović by international law and practice

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro informs the public that it is taking all necessary actions to protect the rights of Montenegrin citizen Risto Jovanović in the Republic of Kosovo, following international law and practice. The Ministry ensured that the human rights of our citizen were fully protected during the process.

Regardless of the complex circumstances and attempts to politicize this case, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro communicates intensively with the competent authorities of the Republic of Kosovo to fully respect international law and standards and find an appropriate solution.

According to international practice, we cannot present the details of our activities publicly at the moment, but the MFA is undertaking daily activities aimed at fully protecting the interests and rights of Jovanović, and we hope that this case will be resolved soon.
