WTO WORKSHOP ON CUSTOMS VALUATION NOTIFICATIONS

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organizing a workshop on customs valuation to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 22-24 May 2024. The workshop is a specialized training aimed at familiarizing participants with the Agreement on customs valuation and notification obligations, as well as to help Members in the preparation of appropriate notifications. Members may nominate one official who is in charge of preparing and/or coordinating customs valuation notifications.

Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, are invited to submit applications along with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than March 9, 2024.

The application form must be completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating authority which presents the candidate, as well as stamped, and submitted to the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation of the WTO (through the Mission in Geneva) no later than March 15, 2024.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.
