Zagreb: Bilateral political consultations held between Montenegro and Croatia

Bilateral consultations between Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia, led by State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Periša Kastratović and State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Frane Matušić, were held today in Zagreb.

The meeting addressed the status of open issues and considered the further dynamics of work and methods of resolving them, to achieve concrete results as soon as possible.

Both sides expressed readiness for open and active dialogue. Progress in resolving open issues will contribute to overall bilateral relations and further integration of Montenegro into the EU, which is in their common interest. The two sides agreed on continuous contact on these issues and established a tentative schedule for the next meetings.
