Director Blažo Šaranović in study visit to Criminal Assets Baureau in Ireland

30. October 2013. the representatives of the property, headed by the Director, Blažo Šaranović, in cooperation with Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) – Mission to Montenegro, Rule of Law/Human Rights Department were in the three-day study visit to Criminal Assets Bureau in Ireland where they shared experiences of the seized property, and property acquired by criminal offense.

Welcome wished them Mr. Eugene Corcoran and Mr. Seamus Boland, Detective Chief Superintendent and Chief Bureau Officer and Detective Superintendent. Their experiences shared and Mr. Declan O’Reilly, Bureau Legal Officer, Mr. Thomas Matthews, Criminal Assets Bureau on the topic: confiscation proceedings: real estate, cash, vehicles, jewelry, works of art as well as other high value products.

They spoke on the topic of complying with court orders, as well as the management and disposal of seized assets, and through discussions and presentations on practical examples representatives of CAB presented their experiences in the seizure of criminal assets.
