Held training on the topic: Managing of seized and confiscated assets - problems and ways of solving - experiences of the Republic of Croatia
29th and 30th April 2014. at hotel "Maestral" in
Budva, representatives of the Property Administation participated in training
organized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) -
Mission to Montenegro on the topic: Managing of seized and confiscated property
- problems and ways of solving-experiences of the Republic of Croatia.
Introductory remarks had Mrs. Ana Bukilić, the OSCE Mission
to Montenegro, and the speakers were: Mr. Alen Čičak Deputy Director of the State
Office for State Property Management of the Republic of Croatia and Ms. Ana
Protrka, head of the seized property.
On the first day of the seminar were covered topics: Managing and disposal of certain types of
assets - temporarily and permanently seized
- money/securities
- movable property
- real estates
- shares/ business interests;
as well as theme: Sale,
rent, lease, keeping and administration, "Temporary administration".
On the second day of the seminar topic was: Cooperation with other institutions inside
the system of seized property. International cooperation. (past
experiences, plan of changes).
After an educational lecture was followed by specific
questions, to which the participants of the training, Mr. Čičak and Mrs.
Protrka, through discussion, practical examples and simulations of
confiscations temporary manager gave legal advice and the way of solving problems
in managing temporarily and permanently seized assets.
The aim of the seminar was to exchange experiences The
Republic of Croatia through the presentations, discussions and work on case
studies in the field of temporary and permanently seized assets.
