Following the good practices with the aim of more successful integration of the Roma and Egyptian community into all the aspects of our society, Ministry for Human and Minority Rights has organized a week on the Ivanova korita on Lovcen mountain for 25 pupils from the senior grades of elementary schools in Podgorica, Niksic and Herceg Novi.

Children went on their winter holiday week today, and during their stay on the mountain they will have the opportunity to study and update their present knowledge on Romani language and culture through the workshops planned for informal language studying. Ministry practices this kind of activity throughout its support to better and faster integration of Roma community and highlighting the importance of staying in the educational system.

Ministry for Human and Minority Rigths does the mentioned activity every year, in the winter time but in the summer time as well, aiming to show Roma and Egyptian pupils, with a small gesture, that their efforts througtout the school year, no matter how circumstances make them harder, does not remain unseen.

Children will stay at Ivanova korita until January, 30th.
