Minister Numanovic is paying a visit to the Municipality of Mojkovac
Minister for Human and
Minority Rights has visited today Municipality of Mojkovac together with H.E.
Serhat Galip Ambassador of Turkey in Montenegro and TIKA coordinator in
Montenegro Mustafa Jazidji.
The working meeting witk the
president of the Municipality Dejan Medojevic and his assistents they exchanged
opinions on the issues related to promotion and enhancing women entrepeneurship,
and their economic power in that Municipality. Mr Medojevic introduced the representatives
of Turkey with the activities on which this Municipality is being engaged
recently, as well as with introducing the prepositions for further cooperation.
A special gratitude was
expressed to Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Coordination which
has donated to the northern region of Montenegro 23 plant houses recognizing
that way the importance of donating one in this Municipality.
The Agency develops
potentials of the rural parts of the country and helps undeveloped parts to
establish a better coordination of the potentials and opportunities that are to
be developed, especially when speaking about entrepeneurship.
Women entrepeneurship
requires support because women in Montenegro by developing their own business help
their families but the overall economic prosperity of the country. The Agency
has donated apple and pear seedlings in the Municipalities of Plav and Bukovica
(Pljevlja) the previous week, aiming to support the development of fruit
growing potencial of the north of the country.
The cooperation with this Agency
is being recognized in Montenegro a long time ago. It has been of great
importance for the whole country because it is present all over the territory of
Montenegro with its donations. It recognizes the parts where the help is most necessary
in the time being, and according to the estimations defines its assets,
Minister concluded.
