Montenegro has become 29th member of the global Initiative "THE EQUAL FUTURES PARTNERSHIP"

Montenegro has become the 29th member of the Initiative "The equal futures partnership", which is dedicated to economic and political empowerment of women on national and global level. The above mentioned Initiative offers an opportunity to present national projects and policies as a way of promoting gender equality policy, and therefore fosters further improvement of the current situation.

"The equal futures partnership" is a new multilateral Initiative, designed to encourage member countries to empower women economically and politically. By accepting the Initiative, member states commit to taking actions - including legal, regulatory, and policy reforms - to ensure that women fully participate in public life at the local, regional, and national level.

Working closely with key stakeholders to identify policy and program priorities, member states of the Iniciative exchange best practices and lessons learned, set achievable goals as commitments within the Partnership, and report on progress.
