Earlier today, Sokolj Beganaj presented his scientific paper tittled "The anti-discrimination approaches in the preschool system in Montenegro" in Cultural Informational Center “Budo Tomovic“. Beganaj is the first member of the Roma population in Montenegro who recently reached his master's degree.

Scientific paper "The anti-discrimination approaches in the pre-school system in  Montenegro" refers to all Roma and Egyptian children in pre-school system in Montenegro. In his work, Beganaj defines preschool education system as primary education designed to develop children’s intercultural spirituality.

"The fight against prejudice is the only way of breaking stereotypes, and just breaking the aforementioned, it makes a path to anti-discrimination, path of inclusion of Roma population", said the author. He added that education of Roma children should start as soon as possible, namely, from the kindergarten because that is the only method of integration of Roma children in the social system.

"Pre-school education can be considered as artificial natural philosophy because of its basis and educational work on the essential principles from which deviation is not permitted, all with the aim to encourage the natural expression of creative self-action of a child," wrote the author in his work.

He concludes that pre-school education stands for the base of acquiring knowledge and skills in the early years of life.

Sokolj is the author of two more publications, a collection of poems and autobiography "From poverty to the Ministry," published last year. He is an example of perseverance and endurance. In spite of all the aggravating circumstances, he himself is the evidence that for achieving an ambition essential is hard work and good will, but the support of the society also plays a significant role.
