PM Marković to pay official visit to Brussels

Podgorica, Montenegro (25 January 2017) – Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković will pay an official visit to Brussels on Thursday, 26 January 2017. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will meet with top officials of NATO and the European Union.

A visit to Brussels will start with a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, after which the Prime Minister will hold separate meetings with the newly appointed President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.

Prime Minister Marković’s decision to pay his first visit to NATO and the European Union testifies to the Government’s commitment to European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes and to the pursuit of the country’s strategic priorities in the field of foreign and security policy.
