Press release: Meeting of the Coordinating Team for monitoring the summer tourist season 2017 was held

The Administration for Inspection Affairs is organizing an intensive inspection during the summer tourist season this year too. On that occassion, on 11 May 2017, a meeting of the Coordinating Team for monitoring the summer tourist season was held in the premises of the Administration.
Director of the Administration for Inspection Affairs, Dr. Božidar Vuksanović stressed the importance of implementing intensive surveiilance of the inspection services during the summer tourist season and the effect that is achieved trough the coordinated work of inspectors. Head of the Coordinating Team for monitoring the summer tourist season, Dr. Višnja Orban, stressed experiences from previous years and pointed out the problems and challenges inspections are dealing during their work.
The meeting particularly focused on the dynamics of work in the coming months and on the already implemented activities of mobile teams of inspectors who are on the ground. Intensive surveillance will again be focused in particular on intensive controls of placing temporary facilities in the coastal zone, the legality of the employment and labor relations, control of employment of foreigners, fullfilment of conditions for conducting activities of catering facilities, trade, issuing fiscal bills in catering and trade, including control of origin and records of origin of goods, sanitary-hygienic conditions in the facilities under sanitary control, facilities for collective accommodation (hotels), etc.
It was concluded that the implementation of intensive surveillance during the tourist season will affect the increase in the number of legally employed people, payment of budget and local revenues and the number of registered economic entities, which will affect on imrovement of the quality of the overall tourist offer of our country.
