Meeting Zenka-Xhaferi: Montenegro is the example of success in fulfilling commitments in the integration processes

The entering of Montenegro into the NATO alliance is of high importance for the integrity of the entire region in the concept of security, and it was evaluated as so during the conversation between the Minister for Human and Minority Rights Mehmed Zenka with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Talat Xhaferi and the representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Macedonia which are in an official visit in Montenegro.

Minister Zenka introduced Mr Xhaferi with the fact that the minorities in Montenegro are political associates in the realisation of the process of progressive reforms of Montenegro.

According to him, minorities give their maximum contribution to building bridges and strengthening bilateral cooperations and friendships between their homeland and Montenegro.

Zenka pointed out that the aim of minorities is to fully achieve common strategic plans which are the outcome of a mature policy and clear intentions. He congratulated Talat Xhaferi on his appointment and estimated the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Macedonia as a strong contribution to the development of further relations between the two countries.

Mr Xhaferi thanked the Minister and stated that the Republic of Macedonia would endeavour with respect and taking into consideration the opinion of his citizents, to find mutually acceptable solutions that would lead to European and Euro-Atlantic integrations emulating the success of Montenegro on its way.

The interlocutors assessed that both countries are very strongly committed to the European future and the improvement of mutual cooperation in order to strengthen the civil concept of their society marked by democratic capacity.
