The Fifth International Conference on the choice of a small or medium-sized enterprises in South East Europe which support the family was held in Podgorica

If large corporations are still ruled by men, women enter the new millennium by winning the world market, through small and medium enterprises as founders and managers,said  Head of the Department of Gender Equality Biljana Pejovic at the Fifth International Conference on the choice of a small or medium-sized enterprises in South East Europe which support the family - 2017.

She said that the conference was an opportunity to exchange best practices and experiences in the field of entrepreneurial initiative and demonstrate best business potentials and the results of economic development of the countries of Southeast Europe.

Woman family entrepreneurship is most common in developed economies, where it enjoys the support of government through various economic mechanisms, such as tax incentives and access to micro-credit lines.

She expressed satisfaction for Montenegro being the host of this year's competition and ceremony of announcing the winner and said that it is also a chance for most successful companies from the region of Southeast Europe to present their business successes. Pejovic thanked the Association of entrepreneurs of Montenegro for its contribution for Montenegro to host the conference as wel as for  promotion of women entrepreneurship, which is the focus of this international competition.

Pejovic estimated a contemporary woman has many temptations in achieving  her emancipation and affirmation in the society. According to her, it is necessary to unite all the constructive ideas, to continue with improving the knowledge and best practices in order to create economic independence and full equality through the development of female entrepreneurship.

The initiative "The company that supports the family," is the fruit of the efforts of the Balkan Alliance of women in crafts from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Croatian to organize an international competition for the best small and medium enterprises in Southeast Europe that supports  family.
