Preventive actions health examinations in Danilovgrad and Berane for members of vulnerable social groups

Regulation on the manner of implementation of health care of foreigners / men and women ensures the members of Roma and Egyptian population who have not regulated their legal status have  the equal rights to health care with other policyholders so that there are no regulatory barriers to the exercise of the right to health protection, neither  on the extent, nor on the content of services.

The Ministry for Human and Minority Rights conducts related activities in order to emphasize the importance of regular health examinations. A special focus is on raising awareness on the importance of timely and regular examinations of members of vulnerable groups in our society.

In this regard, today in health centers in Danilovgrad and Berane actions of ultrasonographic examination of the abdomen are held  in Danilovgrad for women from the domicile and displaced population from Camp Konik, and lungs and control blood sugar levels for members of Roma and Egyptian population in Berane. There have been forty women and pointed once again to the importance of health care.

Actions are carried out in cooperation of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Health, the Red Cross of Montenegro and the Roma National Council. A special thank to the staff  of the Health Center in Danilovgrad and Health Center in Berane on the efficient and dedicated work and cooperation.
