Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and NGO "Phiren Amenca"

As a sign of a successful cooperation that the Ministry forHuman and Minority Rights has with non-governmental organizations for promotion and protection of human rights today, a Memorandum with  NGO Phiren Amenca has been signed. 

Minister for Human and Minority Rights Mehmed Zenka emphasized the importance of joint cooperation and welcomed the increasing involvement of young educated activists from the Roma and Egyptian communities with the intention of improving the position and quality of life of this community.

Elvis Berisha on behalf of a non-governmental organization Phiren Amenca said that the further focus of cooperation will be on activities related to the development of the identity of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro.

Cooperation will be include the activities related to the improvement of the social and economic situation of the Roma and Egyptian population in the area of housing, education, health care, employment, legal status, social and family protection, as well as identity.

The Memorandum of Cooperation will reach a period until 2020, when the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020 will finish.
