The OSCE Mission and the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights continue to improve gender equality policy at the local level. The OSCE Mission and the Ministry for Human Rights and Minority Rights continue to improve gender equality policy at the local level as it was noted at the Local Level Coordinator's Network meeting. At the meeting activities in the area of ​​gender equality at the local level  were presented as well as those whose implementation is ongoing.

A cross-section of the state of affairs has been made and the conclusion was  made that there is a need to continue with the active implementation of policies that include gender perspectives.

It was agreed that the OSCE Mission and the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights will provide further expert support in drafting local action plans. Regarding this joint activities are planned in the forthcoming period.

The meeting noted that through the cooperation of the Ministry, the OSCE Mission and the Municipalities, good practices were promoted in the implementation of equal opportunities policy at local level, which is an incentive to further improve the capacity of local mechanisms for gender equality and raise the level of knowledge in order to achieve full equality at all levels.
