Announcement: Celebrating the International Roma Day

The Ministry for Human and Minority Rights together with the Center for Preservation and Development of the Culture of Minorities and the Roma Council, will celebrate April 8th  – the International Roma Day by organizing an event -"Destroying Prejudices" at the cultural center ”Budo Tomovic”, on Monday, April 8th, 2019, in the period from 12 to 14h.

Minister for Human and Minority Rights Mehmed Zenka, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro Aivo Orav and Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms Šućko Baković will address the audience at the opening. The occasion will gather representatives of institutions, international organizations, NGO-s and media.

As part of the event, the children's actor Radojica Stanković (Šanta Panta) will perform a children's play entitled "If I was the one who to rule the planet - a short story about human rights". The event will be accompanied by a music band and a Roma folklore ansamble.
